A contemporary style residence that incorporates indigenous stone accent elements into the sharp-lined architecture. Notice the “butt glaze” glass feature, which required a structural masonry lintel above the window glass. This home was built in 2002 by a builder that proved that an Omni Block home could be built for the same cost as 2×6 wood-framing and stucco. He did this by accurately deducting the costs of exterior wall framing, insulation, drywall, and very importantly, the reduction of HVAC tonnage in the Omni Block home, which resulted in enough savings to off-set the Omni Block initial costs. He was quoted as saying, “Where else can you have the Cadillac for the price of the Chevy.”
