The combination of exposed block with a teak wood veneer is a striking look for this secluded residential gem. Extra care was taken to produce the block well inland so that there was minimal iron ore content in the aggregate. Iron ore in constant contact with the salt breezes would eventually damage the structural integrity of the block.
Notice the exterior block moves to the the interior walls for accent treatments.
